Sooo....I'm really tired....and typing r e a l l y S L O W! ! ! ! !

Whoa....never realized that my fingers were so long....

Oh great, i'm going insane while also falling half-asleep with my face on the keyboard. Eye-yi-yi.... My friend Sienna slept over last night- we stayed up till two or three in the morning- and it was funnn.... ate some nachos a few minutes ago...they were goooddd....
this post is taking a year to type because my arms are soooo tired and i just want to lay down and gooo tooo slleeepppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

Things have been good. I finished my school assignments, so i won't be behind when i show up on monday. My brother is going to his GF's house tonite. Thanksgiving was delicious, we went bowling with some family friends!! I couldn't be happier to be alive.
I hope you all are doing well. I really want a cat right now....but that's not gonna happen until about august next year. :P

anyway, going to go now...gotta clean the fishy tank!!!

Artistic Videos can be Annoying..

Hey guys.

I know i'm up early for a teenager, but i couldn't sleep. My artistic video has been modified. I doubt it's as cool, but you know, whatever. So while that's preparing, I'll update you on what's happening.

Ke$ha is weird. Okay? we can't ignore it any more. she's a nutjob. She parties and drinks and bathes in glitter and I do not like her. and what's with using $doller $ign$ for ever 'S' she writes?
Hmmm...Ke$ha can sing when she wants to...and she can be good. but often times she's 'Ralking' (Rap-talking) over a synth beat that is the same thing as 'California Gurls' by Katy Perry.
Oh, now i can rant about HER.
Katy, Katy, Katy. You stole my name but you spell it with a y. first of all, your grammer on California Gurls is incorrect. it's Californian Gurls if you were wondering. Saying California Gurls (spelled with a U? Really?) is like saying Asia girls or America girls. Katy Perry obviously did not pass third grade english. Maybe that's a little harsh.
Whatever.
Lady Gaga: You have a great voice, but if you actually used your talent and didn't hide it to make money, I might like you alot more. Plus. you sort of need a stylist. sorry, It's true. a meat dress? I bet nobody wanted to sit by you because it smelled awful.

Can We Start Again?

Hey guys,
yeah so i am doing fine. Just stopping before dinner for a quick update...yeah...
SO!!!!!!! it's going to be 7 degrees farenhiet here.....Yeah....BREAKIN RECORDS LEFT AND RIGHT WITH THIS WEATHER!!!!!!!!! today we broke the 1987 record for coldness...freaky stuff, man.
in other news...My bro doesn't have pnemounia anymore...he's all better!!!
and you're wondering what the title has to do with this? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!!! except for the fact that i'm listening to an epic song called Start Again by the band Red.
so yeah.....how are you guys? I hope you're not dying....i hope no one you know is dying....
School is better for me. Less stress, Less drama, more funnnn! i like where we are. I like who i know. I like my teachers! My friends are good. They can be weird though...

SNOOWWW!!!!!!

Washington is dumping snow at this point in time! It's the first snow of the year! I'm so happy because last year was a La Nina year, so there was virtually no snow all year, and this year is an El Nino year!!!!!! It's only November 22, and ice and snow is everywhere!

Here I am Again

Heyyyy it's katie!

I haven't been posting at all lately, but that's because I've been focused on my other blog, which is for my photography. (Check it out: www.2percentlight.tumblr.com) But also School takes part in this too.

So school is pretty confusing at this point in time. We're at Shuksan now, and stress is slowly building. It was terrible at the first part of the year, because one of my closest friends decided to ditch me, and a whole bunch of stuff was going on. Our schedules got messed up, homework was heavy, and we had to sit through a ton of opening talks/lectures from our teachers.
Just awful, huh? haha....it's not that bad anymore. I'm fine, we're fine, everything's fine

An update on football-it's over now. My brother is a senior, so it's his last year. I worked as watergirl this year, and got to know all the players a little better. But last night, we lost to the best team in the league. The boys were dissapointed, but most of them kept up high spirits and cheered on.
I hope they all had fun this season.

Speaking of my brother, he plays Jazz and has recorded a C.D. He also applied to a few music colleges, (i.e., Cornish School of Arts, Berklee College of Music, and Eastman School of Music) I don't know which one he wants to get in the most. Poor guy has the flu, though. He's going to the doctor today. :(

Anyway, it's a lazy Saturday for me. Maybe I'll go outside and take some pictures. Maybe I'll play drums, piano, I don't know. I'll do something.

Ahhhhh....summer!

Summer is nearly over, folks, and school is underway. Time for the smell of pencil shavings and new school clothes. Time for walking around with a fifty-or-more lb. backpack with much unnecessary weight. Time for getting up at six in the morning for shower, clothes, makeup, go.
Oy vey........
On the bright side, i'll get to see my friends again!!! and my birthday is on the sixteenth. School is pretty good, i mean, after all, you LEARN STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but this summer has been pretty grand, with the east coast trip and camp firwood (where i found God and Myself again), Lake Roosevelt and Birch Bay. Summer is always good.
but in three short weeks, 16 days, school starts again. Seventh grade......*shivers* what's going to happen? Ah well, we can't guess because we don't know!!!

Number One, as you see in the title, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY GENERATION!?!?!?!?!
I cannot beleive that my fellow "peers" have turned to the deep dark evilish mean nasty depths of  pop and hip-hop.
I just can't beleive it.
Now, the few of us who enjoy the rock/punk/metal scene, those are the smart ones. I hang out with people who LOVE that kind of music, just like me.

LONG LONG LONG TIME SINCE I'VE BEEN HERE!!!!!

I am Back!!!!!
So here's the digs. Over spring break, I was grounded. I got my fb taken away, tv, and computer. at least i had music! But then, on friday, i got grounded again! for two weeks, i was without music (dying!), tv (not so bad), Computer (not so bad either), and my ds (not so bad). i was pretty much locked in my room like a slave. but now i'm back!
So My grades are not turning out so well. I have a B in social studies, a B in reading (total OMG factor, right?), and a B in science. if i don't bring the A- in math up, there'll be a B in that class too. YIKES!!!!!
I'm a total music freak. if i don't have music for at least a day, I'll die! lately, i've been exploring the punk scene a bit. I prefer The Distillers, Minor Threat, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Dropkick Murphys, Stiff Little Fingers, and The Burning Hotels, which are actually kind of Alt rock. (Alt. means alternetive, for those who AREN'T freaks). But I do need new headphones, because mine are splitting and breaking. Apple earbuds aren't that great of sound quality anyway, so who cares?
Life's pretty good. the other day, i went with my brother to see Iron Man 2. it was actually really good! it had a much better plot than the first one, and lots more fighting type stuff. One of the preveiws we saw was like this new Steven Speilburg (spelling?) film. its about how they moved Area 51 on a train to a small town in Iwoa. it shows the train and then a truck smashes right into the front of it and the whole train tips onto it's side and explodes! but then it shows a shot of the opening to a train car thing and something inside is smashing dents in the front. Just before it breaks through, the screen goes black! this dude in the audience, after it went black and everything was silent, yelled "what?" really loud. we were all laughing!
I started a new story about a girl who's brother dies and she has a really hard time with that. It's called, If I Loved You, I Would Say So.

UGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I took a math quiz a couple weeks ago and got bad grades on the targets! I hope it doesn't bring down my Math grade because I barely made an A-. I don't think it's going to be that bad. So right now I'm listening to Evanecence's Bring Me To life. it's alright, the lyrics are a little shaky though. kind of emo sounding....
I realized recently that expository writing is just not my gig. I handed in my paper and my teacher went, "Got a long way to go." Of course I asked for pointers, which he gave, and then I tried fixing it. I hope I do okay on that. It's about my favorite place.
My friend dropped a dictionary on my hand today. It was an accident, but it hurt pretty bad! I still have the mark!
I really don't have much going on right now, though.

PORTLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to Portland with my Mom and My Nana today! I got to skip school and go on a train to get there! and we get to stay in a fancy-shmancy hotel right next to a huge bookstore! yay! I just got new songs on my iPod, and this is going to be soooooooooooooo fun!

I'm so excited! you can get room service at any time in the night. and they have a pillow menu to choose what kind of pillow you want!!!!!!!!!!

The Latest News!!!

So you might have known that my brother is going to Berklee College of Music. He's going to live in Boston! that's almost 10 states away! I'm kind of sad, but happy for him. :)
In class we have pen-pals from Shuksan Middle school since we're going there next year. Mine is named Emran. He's nice, or so it seems in the letter. He like NBA basketball, so what I said to him in the letter I am sending back is that I think it's cool he likes the NBA because my brother and my dad are both really into Football, so it's nice to hear about something else. I drew a picture of Jack White today, you know, from the white stripes? Well, to me, he looks a little emo. kind of scary, but in a cool way.
I really don't have anything else to say except that I felt really idiotic yesterday because I stepped on my own feet twice in one day.

Did lots of stuff this weekend/today!!!

Haven't been posting for a while! sorry, sorry, so, so, sorry!!!
Let's chat. this weekend, i went to Great Wolf Lodge and it was awesome!!!! I beat the whole MagiQuest wand thing. My name was Magi Fadonia. pronounced Fa-don-ya. it was so fun. we went on the waterslides and everything. I also have been doing lots of writing. that is fun. Today me and my dad went bowling and he won. boo. we also got ice cream and this huge beetle/spider thing fell in mine from the ceiling of his car! well I screamed very very loud and he was on the phone for a business call. Whoops. I am doing a 30-hour fast for my church. it is going to be very hard not to eat for 30 whole hours. My last meal is tonight...

The Thesaurus Is One Of my Best Friends

Ladies and Gents, Katie ness forgot to post the last twenty million or so hours. 'Polegies to those who like reading this. Have i ever expressed my love for thesauruses? They are any writer/poet's dream. I mean, they actually tell you words to use for other words! like this one, instead of saying Stupid, you could say any one of these words:
sensless, brainless, idiotic, simple, shallow, imprudent, witless, half-witted, funny, comical, silly, laughable, irrational, inane, ridiculous, mindless, ludicrous, muddled, absurd, nonsensical, illogical, indiscreet, unintelligent, irresponsible, scatterbrained, crack-brained, addled, foolish, unwary, incautious, misguided, wild, injudicious, imbecile, addlebrained, lunatic, insane, mad, crazy, moronic, touched, freakish, comic, narrow-minded, incoherent, childish, senile, far-fetched, preposterous, unreasonable, asinine, unwise, thoughtless, careless, fatous, light, lightheaded, flighty, madcap, giddy, cuckoo, boneheaded, goffy, cracked, half-baked, in a daze, wacky, dumb, harebrained, screwy, cockeyed, loony, batty, dopey, nutty.  

with all those choices, why would anyone even NEED to add stupid? The Thesaurus is one of my best friends. I just love it.


Now instead of saying, "that's stupid," you could say,
"That's the most inane, ludicrous, Irrisponsible, incoherent, boneheaded, flighty, poposterous thing I have ever seen!"
or if you wanted to be such a boring character you could just say that it's stupid. Oh-So lame.

So Pull out your thesaurus and parooze it once and a while!

Books You Gotta Read

okay so here are some books I've read that I'm passing my thoughts of down to all of you! the first book I want to show is called Wintergirls

Car Wrecks and Poetry :-)

Okay so here is the deal. I just started tech at school and it's a lot cooler than I thought. We get to do animation stuff and engineering. But a B+ for me in math. A's all the way in everything else. today a car accident happened right in front of me! We missed the bus (me, chloe, and selena) so we were walking back to ask my dad for a ride. But then we heard this clanging noise so we looked down the road. A car was sandwiched in between two other cars. We ran across the street and asked the teenage boy who was in the sandwiched car what happened. he said that he was pulling out onto the road and a girl ran into him from behind. another boy ran into him in the front too. He said he got hit twice in like five seconds. I felt so bad for him! but all the people were teenagers.

Baker or Bust? Hardly...

So me, my brother, and my dad went up to Mt. Baker to ski today. It was pitiful. The snow up on chair five was crunchy and icy. I guess three was alright. seven was fine, but everything else was a total failure. We were supposed to stay all day, but after running the Sneaky Pete three times and the Halfpipe four times, we bailed. Two miles away from the ski area, there was no snow in site. The upside is that on the way back, we stopped at Maple Fuels and got some ice cream. I got a single scoop of Fudge Tracks in a waffle cone!

After we came home, we sat down at the couch and watched Saw VI (six) and my mom-who just came back from a bible retreat shinding- went to the gym so she didn't have to hear the death screams, swearing or see the eternal bloodbath. Get this- the box actually said:

The motion picture previously was released in a version rated R for SEQUENCES OF GRISLY , BLOODY VIOLENCE , TORTURE AND LANGUAGE. This unrated version contains material different from the original R-rated version. 

What was funny, though, was that the grisly, bloody violence, torture and language was totally true. The people who wrote the rating were trying to be serious but ended up sounding cheesy!

Tired... And Going to see Holmes!

Well, last night, me and my cousin stayed up late. :P So tired.... we ate tons and tons and tons of sugar thanks to my mother's wonderful brownies. They had peanuts and chopped Rolos on top. Yum!

I am going with my brother, his GF, and My dad to see Holmes, the new movie based on Sherlock Holmes. We probably will eat some popcorn. and candy.

The semester is over! I have a new Elective which is Tech. Art was more fun. but my teacher talked to me and I have a B+ in math. But i re-did some tests, so that should bring up the grade!!

Cousins!

Going to the Cousin's house! Me+ My bro are going to drive out there (he has a license) about 30 minutes away from our house! we are going to have lots o' fun. With 2 sixteen year old boys, one thirteen, one twelve, and one seven year old, we are going to bring down the house!!!!

today was good. we got to watch a movie on ancient Egypt and learned about a new form of poem!!! a tritina!! TRI-Tina. it is super fun. I used to go to Whatcom Middle School, but it burnt down, so now I go to geneva. Which is fine, but next year, we'll be at Shuksan. boo. anyways, have a good weekend!!!

Empty

So Today was alright. One of my Best Friends, Josh, wasn't here. I survived, but it was pretty lame without him. I hung with my other friends, so all was fine. But I don't know what it is. I can't put my finger on it, but sometimes, I just feel.... Empty inside. Kind of like something is missing? What should I do?

Homemade pizza tonight! And afterwards me, mom, and my brother are going to watch Gilmore Girls and eat Chocolate-chip cookie ice-cream sandwiches. Yummy!

My First Post!

So here I am, sitting at my sleek new iMac, typing my very first blog post. There can't be anything else I'd rather be doing right now. I'm supposed to be watching a movie with the Fam, but my usual method is repeatedly saying, "I'm coming." Over and over until finally I get out there and sit down and start watching something or other, which by then, I'm not even thinking about what I'm watching, because my mind is somewhere else completely.

But I feel like I've got the whole world at my finger tips. There is nothing for me to worry about, I'm safe at home, eating my brother's Girlfriend's "will you go to TOLO with me?" cake that she made with her own hands. And I'm fine. Not bleeding or anything, Not exactly living the dream, but right in the center. I am safe...
